There are days when I wish I could be a small dog...

...and be desk sized like my buddy below and have lazy days...

I've known this guy since he was a few weeks old and was a small ball of fluff that could literally fit in the palm of my hand (and would steal my socks off the floor and I would have to chase him down the hall to get them back). Hes not my dog (my Aunts) but hes my buddy and when I used to live with my Aunt I used to put him on the desk next to my computer and he would usually just lounge next to my computer. However occasionally he would get curious and want to explore my desk and walk all over my computer while checking out different things on my desk. He would always try to walk across my computer while I was doing it, despite me explaining on multiple occasions that he was not supposed to do that. But either way hes my buddy and I always enjoy seeing him whenever I can.

Perspectives

I always find it interesting to look at things from different perspectives.

But if we zoom in...

The same bit of rubbish looks different when you zoom in close on it doesnt it? I always find it interesting how if you look at the same thing from a different perspective or point of view it can look completely different.

Defying Gravity

I got invited over to a family friends house for dinner today and we were messing around with one of those little rubber bouncy balls and we sort of defied the laws of gravity.

Getting around

Where I live there are a couple of ways to get around.

We have the bus...

In the Salt Lake area we have the lightrail train called Trax.

And then we have the traditional car...

Then there are other ways I havent mentioned too. Theres biking, walking, running, wheelchairing, skating, longboarding, skateboarding...

East Coast

I love the East Coast and am originally from there and love going out there when I can, which unfortunately isn't very often. However last summer I had a wonderful opportunity to go to Virginia to visit some relatives out there and heres some of the pictures I took.

An early morning flight at the local airport in Provo, Utah. Well worth it in my opinion as security took maybe 5 minutes at the most and the flight from Provo to Denver and Denver to Newport News was quick and comfortable.

Amazing summer weather in Williamsburg while I was there. Blue skies, warm temperatures but not too hot so perfect for walking around.

Everything is so green there! You don't see this living in the Southwest.

This was on the campus grounds at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. The brick pathways were awesome and the trees shading the pathways were stunning. It was awesome walking around the campus of one of the oldest and most respected Colleges/Universities in the US.

Cannons stand guard at the doors!

This was a church on site at the college. If memory serves right, I actually had a relative get married here years ago when I was a little kid. The wood paneling I think looks really cool.

As with a lot of older buildings on the East Coast we have the classic fireplace.

I couldnt resist taking a picture of this. It can have so many different meanings depending on your interpretation.

Rather than your traditional cement sidewalks like in a lot of places, in Williamsburg in a lot of places especially around the College of William and Mary and the Colonial Williamsburg area there are brick lined sidewalks instead. I think its pretty cool.

So tell me what y'all think. Comment below!

Welcome!

Welcome! Hello! Bonjour!
I am an amateur photographer who loves taking pictures as a hobby and to get myself back into my hobby of photography, I've decided to start a photo blog. So a bit about me... Im 20 years old, live in Utah, am into photography as a hobby and my other hobbies include music, movies, hanging out with friends etc... I like colour, odd things, hanging out with my friends, traveling, trying different foods (hummus rocks with naan or pita chips!) and for my first photo...

This is a photo I took of myself with a cell phone last year at the Hare Krishna Spring Festival of Colours at the Hare Krishna Colour Fest or "Holi" in Spanish Fork, Utah. That was definitely a fun day.
